Fleece tested annually from a midside sample analysed by the New Zealand Wool Testing Authority on the Butt End Principle. 

TOFT ENYA is a well grown very attractive  young Modern Grey female out of WILLOUGHBY ELECTRA (SMB)  and our Champion dark Fawn Male HERTS BIG BOPPER   She is exhibitiing a well organised very fine uniform fleece with a long staple, a very soft handle and an attractive variance of colour in various shades of brown shot through with white fibres.

As you can see from her image above TOFT ENYA is already exhibiting a fair number of white fibres in her fleece and we have no doubt that as she matures the white fibres will become more evident throughout her fleece. She is not showing any contrasting patches within her fleece which is why we classify her as a modern Grey.

We do not breed grey alpacas at TOFT Alpacas and as such TOFT Enya is a bit of an anomaly for us whch is why we offer her for sale at an early age and a very reasonable price.
